
Rhoddodd y Gweinidog dros Addysg Leighton Andrews ddisgrifiad o ymateb Cymru i benderfyniad Llywodraeth Prydain i gynyddu ffioedd dysgu mewn sefydliadau addysg uwch yn Lloegr.
Mae pedwar tîm o ymchwilwyr o bob cwr o Gymru wedi adolygu canfyddiadau’r TLRP mewn perthynas â phedwar maes allweddol o bolisi Cymru: Y Cyfnod Sylfaen; Gwella Addysgu ar gyfer dysgwyr rhwng 7 a 14 oed; Cynhwysiant Cymdeithasol a Gwella Dysgu drwy Ystyried Safbwyntiau Dysgwyr. Cafodd y gwaith hwnnw ei gydlynu gan Athro John Furlong o Brifysgol Rhydychen.
Enillodd 64 y cant o ddisgyblion 15 mlwydd oed y trothwy lefel 2, 3 pwynt canran yn uwch nag yn 2008/09.
Yn 2009/10, fe ymadawodd 290 o ddisgyblion 15 oed addysg llawn amser heb gymhwyster cydnabyddedig. Mae hyn yn is na’r cyfanswm o 333 yn 2008/09.
