
Mae’r Gweinidog dros Blant, Addysg, Dysgu Gydol Oes a Sgiliau wedi cydsynio bod y rhestr Cymeradwyo Cymwysterau yn cael ei chyhoeddi ar gyfer dysgwyr yng Nghymru. Mae hyn yn golygu bod y cyrsiau sy’n arwain at ennill cymwysterau yn gymwys yng Nghymru i gael cyllid oddi wrth AAL neu wrth LCC.
Mae Estyn wedi cyhoeddi ei hadroddiad ‘Gwybodaeth reoli mewn gwasanaethau ieuenctid awdurdodau lleol’ Mae canfyddiadau’r adroddiad yn amlygu’r angen i ddefnyddio systemau gwybodaeth reoli yn well ar bob lefel. Mae tystiolaeth yn dangos diffyg arfer gyffredin.
Ar 9fed Mehefin, cafodd nifer o athrawon ysbrydoledig eu hanrhydeddu ar gyfer eu cyfraniad pwysig i ystafelloedd dosbarth ar draws y wlad.
Ar 3ydd Mehefin, cafodd nifer o ymarferwyr a dysgwyr ysbrydoledig eu hanrhydeddu am eu cyfraniad i golegau Addysg Bellach.
Mae’r ymgynghoriad hwn yn gofyn am sylwadau am feini prawf drafft ar gyfer mathemateg, mathemateg bellach, defnyddio mathemateg a defnyddio ystadegau Safon Uwch/Uwch Gyfrannol.

The percentage of young, full-time, first degree students entering HE from state schools or colleges in 2007/08 was 93 per cent (88 per cent for UK HEIs). The percentage of young full-time first degree entrants from low socio-economic backgrounds (NS-SEC Classes 4-7) was 30 per cent in 2007/08. The UK comparable figure was 29.5 per cent.

Diben y ddogfen ymgynghori hon yw gofyn am eich barn ynghylch cynnig i gynnwys data am iaith gyntaf disgyblion yn y Cyfrifiad Ysgolion Blynyddol ar Lefel Disgyblion (CYBLD), y dulliau a gynigir i gasglu’r cyfryw ddata ac amlinelliad bras o’r canllawiau ar gyfer hwyluso’r broses o’i gyflwyno.
Y cyfanswm crynswth sydd wedi'i neilltuo ar gyfer gwariant refeniw yng nghyllidebau awdurdodau lleol Cymru ar gyfer 2009-10 yw £7.3 biliwn, cynnydd o 4.6% ar y flwyddyn flaenorol. Mae gwasanaethau addysg wedi’u cyllidebu i gynyddu 3.4%.

LSIS has published a report of its 27 April 2009 policy seminar into the role of further education and skills providers working within their own local area. The seminar featured video presentations from sector leaders on how they were contributing in their localities, and their partnership work with local councils, police, employers and other stakeholders.
On 26 March 2009, the GTC hosted the seminar Disability and Teaching: Sharing Your Experiences on behalf of the Disabled Teacher Taskforce. The purpose of the event was for teachers with disabilities to share their experiences of initial teacher education (ITE) and school, and to discuss the implications of the proposed Single Equalities Bill.
