Gall plant, pobl ifanc a staff ddefnyddio gwefan 'Cyrraedd y Nod' i rannu gwybodaeth, gwneud sylwadau, gofyn cwestiynau a chyhoeddi astudiaethau achos ynglŷn â’r rhan y maent yn ei chwarae yn y penderfyniadau sy’n effeithio arnynt mewn sefydliadau dysgu ledled Cymru. Mae menter newydd gwerth £4.6 miliwn sydd wedi’i hanelu at helpu pobl ifanc o gymunedau Sipsiwn-Teithwyr i waith ar y gweill, meddai Leighton Andrews y Gweinidog Addysg. Bydd prosiect Dysgu a chael Cyflogaeth yn y Dyfodol Cyngor Sir Benfro yn derbyn £2.5 miliwn gan Gronfa Gydgyfeirio Gymdeithasol Ewrop trwy Lywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru.
Cafodd Memorandwm Cyd-ddealltwriaeth rhwng Chongqing yn Tsieina a Chymru ei lofnodi i greu cyfleoedd addysgol i fyfyrwyr ar y cyd rhwng y ddwy wlad. Cafodd y Memorandwm ei lofnodi yn ystod ‘Wythnos Cymru’ yn Chongqing, sef cyfres o ddigwyddiadau busnes, twristiaeth, addysg a diwylliant sy’n gysylltiedig â Chymru.

This circular attaches for consultation the draft HEFCW Corporate Strategy 2010-11 to 2012-13. The Strategy is based firmly on the Welsh Assembly Government’s publication For our Future, the 21st Century Higher Education Strategy and Plan for Wales.
Around 30 Assembly Members met experts from the Beacon for Wales and Welsh Higher Education Institutions at the National Assembly’s Senedd building, to find out how universities in Wales are leading the way in terms of working with the public. The ‘Higher Education and the Welsh Public’ exhibition, organised by the Beacon for Wales, celebrated the many ways in which Welsh universities bring their knowledge out into the wider world.

Research published last week reveals that most employers are happy with the calibre of their employees, with some 93% of the UK workforce thought to be proficient at their jobs. However, experts warned against complacency, saying that employers would need to expect more from, and invest more in, their staff in order to remain globally competitive as the fragile economy emerges from recession.
