The teachers’ workload diary survey provides data on the hours and working patterns of teachers in maintained primary, secondary and special schools in England and Wales. This is the 10th survey to examine teachers’ workload.
The purpose of this research was to monitor perceptions of the overall quality of state education provision at all stages, from early years provision through to Higher Education. It aimed to measure attitudes towards issues such as children’s safety and wellbeing in and out of school and children and young people’s role in the community and it sought to understand the overall perception of England as a place to grow up.
Talisman is a printed newspaper specifically for adult training and Further Education providers. This issue looks at Ofsted's new framework and arrangements for inspection and includes profiles of Warwickshire College and the National Apprenticeship service, plus the latest news and events from the learning and skills sector.
This Big Conversation is a national call to action, launched by Sir Stuart Rose (Chairman of Business in the Community) on the 15th September, to businesses to improve work experience for young people. It is a business-led movement, business talking to business across the country to improve the work experience they offer, convened and supported by BITC. The goal is to improve work experience for the 500,000 students entering placements in June 2010.
