It’s often useful to know not only what research has been published, but also what research is currently underway. A freely-available database with details of current educational research (CERUK) has been available for the last few years, and this has just been re-launched as CERUK plus. www.ceruk.ac.uk
With the introduction in England of Every Child Matters, agencies working for children and their families are collaborating to provide what children and young people need. To support this growing agenda CERUK plus now covers research both on education (from early years to adult) and on services for children. It’s an easy to use source of commissioned research, PhD level work and practitioner research (by social workers and teachers).
CERUK is primarily funded by NfER and DCSF with support from the EPPI-Centre. To ensure that your research is included in the database, or to find out more about CERUK plus, contact Dawn Sanders at NfER, dawn.sanders@nfer.ac.uk
