Creativity and Innovation are the main priorities of the Slovenian
Presidency of the EU in the field of Education and Training.
"Get Perspective - Mobility broadens Horizons" is the motto of the
conference under the Slovenian presidency. Mobility within the Lifelong
Learning Programme contributes substantially to bringing this motto to life
and to giving additional impetus for creativity and innovation in the
European Education Area.
Mobility is an activity that affects European citizens more directly than
any other, thus the European Lifelong Learning Programme strongly encourages
mobility in all its parts. Quality in mobility in this programme is an
equally important goal for all to reach on the basis of different practical
tools and common recommendations.
We are therefore pleased to invite you to the conference "Quality in
Mobility within the Lifelong Learning Programme" under the Slovenian
Presidency of the Council of the EU, where we will discuss future steps for
achieving quality in mobility
The conference will take place in Ljubljana on 13 June 2008.
To highlight the importance of mobility projects, the European Quality in
Mobility Awards will be given during the morning ceremony to selected
outstanding projects.
